Steps:
- To make meatballs: In a large bowl, combine beef, onion flakes, bread crumbs, salt, nutmeg, eggs and milk.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Shape mixture into 1 inch balls, and place into a 9x13 inch baking dish; bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Lower heat in oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- To make sauce: In a large saucepan over medium heat, mix vinegar, sugar, mustard and 1/2 cup water; bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. Mix cornstarch and 1/2 cup water; add to saucepan, and boil for 1 minute more.
- Add sauce to cooked meatballs, and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, basting occasionally.

- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs and onion. Mix thoroughly and shape into golf ball-sized balls.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, gently brown the meatballs and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, flour, water, white vinegar and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly. Add meatballs and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, for 30 minutes.

- In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-in. balls. In a large skillet, cook meatballs over medium heat until browned on all sides and a thermometer reads 160°; drain., Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set pineapple aside. Add water to juice to measure 1/2 cup. Stir in the brown sugar, vinegar and soy sauce; pour over meatballs. Add carrots. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-8 minutes or until carrot is crisp-tender. Stir in green pepper and pineapple; cover and simmer 5 minutes longer or until pepper is crisp-tender., Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into meatball mixture. Everybody loves meatballs at parties, and this recipe won't let you down! Seasoned beef meatballs are simmered in a sweet and spicy sauce. You can also use ground venison instead of the ground beef.

- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, dry bread crumbs and milk. Blend in ground pepper, parsley, onion, salt, egg and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly.

- Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, mix the chile sauce and grape jelly over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until jelly is melted.

STIR-FRIED BEEF AND STRING BEANS II

- 1. Mince or grind beef. Chop onion. Mince garlic. 2. Stem string beans, cut in 1 1/2-inch sections then parboil. 3. Heat oil. Add salt, then onion and garlic, and stir-fry a few times. Add beef and stir-fry until it loses its redness (about 1 minute). Remove from pan. 4. Heat remaining oil. Add parboiled beans and stir-fry to coat with oil. Stir in stock and heat quickly. 5. Return beef and cook, covered, 2 minutes over medium heat. 6. Meanwhile blend cornstarch, sherry and cold water to a paste. Then stir in to thicken. Serve at once. VARIATION: * In step 6, omit the cornstarch paste. Instead, quickly stir in 2 eggs, beaten cook over low heat until eggs begin to set. Serve at once.
