30 MINUTE DINNER ROLLS
I made these one time to go with soup that we were having for dinner. I made the dough balls too big and/or let them rise too much and they ended up being huge, but they were good and they were easy to make.

Steps:
- Mix warm water, oil, sugar and yeast; let rest for 10 minutes until yeast activates.
- Add salt and beaten egg; blend well.
- Add flour, one cup at a time until soft dough if formed.
- Knead on a floured surface 5-10 minutes or until dough is smooth and elastic.
- Shape into small balls (walnut sized) and put into a greased baking pan.
- Let rise at least 5-10 minutes.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
- *If you have more time, you can let the rolls rise in the pan until they have doubled in size.

- 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. In the bowl of your stand mixer, combine the warm water, oil, yeast, and sugar. Allow the mixture to rest for 15 minutes. 3. Mix 2 cups of the flour, the salt, and the egg into the yeast mixture using a dough hook. Add the remaining 1½ cups flour ½ cup at a time. 4. Shape dough into 12 balls and place in a 9x13 pan. Let dough rest for 10 minutes. 5. Bake for 10 minutes or until tops are just golden brown.
20 MINUTE ROLLS
These don't even have to rise before baking! Ideal if you are short on time and want fresh bread for dinner! Can be used to make rolls or a loaf of bread (I like to do round loafs on a cookie sheet). From http://craftykin.blogspot.ca/.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm water, oil, yeast, and sugar; let rest for 5-10 minutes or until frothy and bubbly (you can also make this recipe without a stand mixer - just use a big bowl, a large wooden spoon, and all your arm strength).
- With a dough hook, mix in salt, egg and 2 cups of wheat flour until combined. Then add remaining flour - 1/2 cup at a time (dough will be sticky). Sometimes I need the full 3 ½ cups, sometimes I need less, and sometimes I need even more.
- Spray your hands with cooking spray and shape the dough into 12 balls.
- After shaped, place on lightly greased cookie sheet and let rest and rise for at least 10 minutes.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until tops are lightly golden.
