Great when you feel like having something different on the grill! Preparation time does not include marinating time in refrigerator. Cooking time includes cooking time and setting time before slicing.

Steps:

  • Whisk soy sauce, Worcestershire, lemon juice, cilantro and ginger root to blend. Pour into a large Zip-lock bag.
  • Add steak, and turn to coat. Let stand 1 hour at room temperature, or refrigerate overnight.
  • When ready to cook, prepare barbecue.
  • Drain marinade into small sauce pan, and bring to boil. Set aside, and keep warm.
  • Grill steak about 3-5 minutes per side, depending on how rare or well done you like it. Let steak stand for 10 minutes.
  • Thinly slice across grain.
  • Drizzle sauce over top.

1 1/4 lbs ny strip steaks
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot, minced

Steps:

  • 1. sprinkle steak with salt and pepper.
  • 2. Rub in salt and pepper with olive oil.
  • 3. Place on hot broiler and mark with the grids of the broiler to make a # design on the steak.
  • 4. Flip the steak over and do the same on the other side.
  • 5. Check for the doneness you would like and serve with favorite sauce.

  • Whisk shallot and lemon juice in small bowl to blend. Gradually whisk in oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let stand 15 minutes to blend flavors. Grill Steaks to temperature. Combine Arugula and sliced fennel in large bowl. Toss with enough dressing to coat salad. Add Crumbled Goat Cheese; toss gently and serve over made to order steaks. ** You can also sprinkle a little of the Alouette Crumbled Goat Cheese onto the "Strip Steaks" during the last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking for a different presentation.

Steps:

  • Prepare the grill. Mix the Worcestershire and olive oil in a shallow pan. Soak the steaks in this mixture while the grill is heating. Remove the steaks from the marinade and season with the Reata Grill Blend.
  • When the grill feels hot to a hand held five inches from the fire, it is ready to use. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side for medium. Top each steak with a cold slice of herbed butter (seasoned with chopped fresh cilantro) and serve immediately.
