BEST PORK CHOP MARINADE
This is the best pork chop marinade I've ever tasted. I starting throwing things together in a bowl and I'm so glad I wrote it down...try this! Flavor is best when pork is grilled.

Steps:
- Cut each pork chop from one side through the middle horizontally to within 1/2 inch of the other side. Open the two sides and spread them out like an open book.
- Whisk olive oil, brown sugar, lemon juice, mustard, garlic, thyme, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mesquite seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper together in a bowl and pour into a large resealable plastic bag. Add pork chops, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator, 6 to 8 hours.

VIRGIL'S "TOP SECRET" PORK CHOP MARINADE
This is my father-in-law's famous 'top secret' pork chop marinade. Top secret means that he shared it with everyone the last 20 years, even my brother, who is no relation to Virgil, but he would never share with me until recently. I gave him so much grief about it that he finally shared it with me. I know what you're thinking, 'Virgil didn't share it with you because he didn't want it blabbed on the internet.' Nope. He only did that to pester me. This is a very good marinade that was developed by Virgil and his brother specifically for pork chops, but also works on beef and chicken.

AMAZING CHICKEN MARINADE
This recipe came from Allrecipes (Ruth Crickmer). My whole family loved it even though it cooked too fast. The original recipe said 'high heat' on the grill, which my husband did. It ended up cooking 8 minutes total, charred but not burnt tasting, and very juicy and flavorful. We'll turn down the heat next time for texture, but this is a keeper in our home!

MARINATED SPICY PORK CHOPS
This is an easy and delicious recipe for marinating pork chops, steaks, or chicken. The marinade is prepared in minutes, and the meat can marinate in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours. For a quick dinner, I prepare the marinade in the morning before work then throw them on the grill when I get home.

AMAZING PORK CHOP OR CHICKEN MARINADE
This recipe came from my sister-in-law Denise who is an awesome cook, mother and wife! Originally we were using it only for pork but last night I had boneless, skinless chicken breasts thawed and thought, "why not?" The brown sugar flavor really came through with the chicken. I'm guessing it would also be great with venison. I often double the marinade for plenty to boil and pour over the grilled meat.

EASY BONELESS PORK CHOP WITH AN AMAZING FLAVOUR.
This is an easy recipe to make, you can prepare and store the coating/spread a week in advance and use as a marinade or coating for other meats through the week or thicken up with more butter and use to roast vegetables in. Fresh or Dried Sage and Rosemary can be used. I don't use a lot of garlic in this as I just like to taste a little hint, not a big kick. Preparation takes around 15 minutes and cooking will take around 60 minutes, leaving you time to help the kids get their homework finished, or have a cheeky glass of wine. Oh, This recipe is to serve 4 family members (1 pork loin each)

Steps:
- First you need to make the spread/coating, as this is where all the flavours will come from. Start by mixing the butter, apple sauce and oil together.
- Finely chop the rosemary and sage if using fresh herbs. Add to the mixture.
- Crush the garlic clove. Add to the mixture.
- Season the spread with salt and pepper.
- The coating needs to be of quite a stiff consistency so you can coat the meat well, the instructions here should make it well but if it is not quite stiff enough, blend a little more butter into it.
- Take the pork and score the meat with lines all over.
- Place each chop on its own piece of foil - enough so it can be wrapped tightly when ready.
- Smear the coating all over the meat, massaging it in, generously.
- Wrap in foil tightly and place in the oven on gas mark 4/170C for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow time for foil to cool slightly, open up the parcels and place 2 wedges of the chopped bramley apple on each piece of meat.
- If the meat is looking a little dry then add more spread/covering. Wrap again and return to the oven. I usually allow an extra 30 minutes but be sure to check the meat through the whole duration to prevent burning or over cooking.
- Serve when ready with your favourite side dish - honey roasted parsnips and roast potatoes are my favourite.
