BAKED SALISBURY STEAKS FOR A CROWD

This is great for a crowd, or to have planned-overs! We like it served with mashed potatoes, noodles, rice, or mac-n-cheese and an in-season vegetable. The kids like it with creamed style corn, or corn pudding.

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2. In large bowl, combine the ground beef, oatmeal, egg substitute, salt, Mrs. Dash Garlic Seasoning, pepper and 2/3 Cup of the condensed onion soup.
  • 3. Shape into 10=12 oval patties. Spray non-stick pan with olive oil, or use just enough oil to cover bottom of pan. Brown on both sides over medium high heat. BEST SALISBURY STEAK

I remember enjoying it often when I was growing up, but when I decided to add it to my recipe collection, I wasn't able to find it in my modern cookbooks. I came up with these ingredients on my own and experimented until it tasted like I remembered. -Faye Hintz, Springfield, Missouri
