BBQ MEATBALLS CROCK POT STYLE
This delicious recipe comes from Steph's Country Kitchen Goodness on the web. There are a few changes from the original but this is one tasty way to make meatballs.

Steps:
- COMBINE in a large bowl beef, crackers, 2 tbsp barbecue sauce, egg and seasonings.
- MELT margarine in skillet; Saute onion until tender; Add onion to beef mixture and mix well.
- SHAPE beef mixture into 1 ½ inch meatballs and place on a non-stick cookie sheet.
- BAKE at 350°F for 20 minutes or until just browned.
- POUR remaining sauce in crock pot; Add meatballs and stir gently to cover in sauce.
- COVER and cook on high-heat for 4 hours stirring occasionally.

CROCK POT BBQ MEATBALLS
I made this up for New Years as an appetizer and they were such a hit. We ate the leftovers over egg noodles 2 days later, and they were even better. (make a double batch for parties)

Steps:
- Sauce:.
- Saute diced onion in a large saute pan, put half aside to cool.
- Add BBQ sauce, A-1, mustard, and ketchup.
- Fill the empty BBQ sauce bottle with water and add to pan.
- Bring to a simmer, for 5 minutes, then set aside.
- Meatballs:.
- In a small mixing bowl; blend: egg whites, bbq sauce, A1 sauce, salt, pepper, chili and garlic powders, and margarine.
- Place the beef in a large mixing bowl and slowly add the blended ingredients.
- Slowly add crushed crackers and mix until well blended.
- Roll into small (3/4- 1 inch balls).
- Bake on greased sheet in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
- After meatballs are all baked, place them into your crock pot and add the sauce.
- cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- Can be served with toothpicks as an appetizer, on rolls for a sandwich, or over egg noodles as dinner.

- Add meatballs and simmer, covered for about 45 minutes.

SLOW COOKER CRANBERRY BARBECUE MEATBALLS
A wonderful appetizer - always highly requested at our parties! From a Betty Crocker Appetizer recipe book - January 2004. I use store-bought meatballs. Meatballs will hold on Low Heat setting for about 2 hours. Hint- Trader Joe's makes a great cranberry-orange sauce, but only at the holidays. To make this recipe at other times, I just create a sauce with canned cranberries and about a 1/4 cup OJ. Enjoy! We sure do!
