Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Make the filling: Mix the mozzarella, ricotta, basil, scallions, 1/4 cup parmesan and the breadcrumbs in a medium bowl until combined. Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll out each piece on a lightly floured surface into a 7-to-8-inch round.
- Spoon one-quarter of the filling onto one half of each dough round, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Lightly brush the edges of the dough with some of the beaten egg; fold the dough over the filling and crimp the edges with a fork to seal. Transfer the calzones to the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the calzones with the remaining beaten egg and cut 2 slits in the top of each to let steam escape. Sprinkle the calzones with the remaining 2 teaspoons parmesan, then bake until golden brown and cooked through, 18 to 20 minutes. Serve with marinara sauce, the salami and giardiniera.

PERFECT EVERY TIME PIZZA OR CALZONE DOUGH
Ready in a snap and my kids love it! This can be used for pizza dough too. My dear chef friend Darrin Gleason shared this recipe with me over ten years ago while attending college. It has been a go-to recipe for my family for all these years and I thought I should share it with my cooking community.

Steps:
- Directly in your Corning Ware 1 ½-quart FRENCH WHITE Round Dish, mix the can of Cream of Chicken Soup (or any cream soup you like, but Cream of Chicken gives the best chickeny flavor to this Chicken Pot Pie), the can of Chicken with any juices, and the drained can of Veg-All.
- Mix well but don't worry if there are little chunks of condensed soup, it will smooth out as it cooks.
- In a separate bowl, mix the Bisquick, Milk, and egg (though this recipe works just fine without the egg, the crust is just a bit thinner and crisper instead of being as puffy).
- Pour crust mixture over chicken and veggie mixture.
- Don't worry if it sort of mixes in a little-- the crust will'rise' to the top as the pie cooks.
- Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven till the crust is golden brown.
- About 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool 10 minutes before serving.
