Man oh man is this bread good... This is a dessert bread. Bread is very moist with FABULOUS flavor and texture... It couldn't be any better... The best dessert bread I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Thanks Chris! I can tell you, this is one recipe not to be overlooked... It really is incredible!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Grease and flour 2 9x5" loaf pans.
- Combine flour, soda, sugar, salt, and nuts in mixing bowl, and blend by hand.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Bake at 350, for 1 hours in 2 greased and floured 9x5" loaf pans.

KING'S HAWAIIAN BREAD (COPYCAT)
We absolutely love this bread. My sister won't buy anything but. It's kinda expensive so when I came across this, I had to add it here so we (Mom, Chris, and I) could always have it and everyone else could enjoy it too. The first time I ever had it, it was with the Spinach Veggie dip...OMGOSH it was DEEEVINE! So...next time you don't wanna spend the money, whip it up yourself! It does take a while...but so worth it!

Steps:
- Beat the eggs. Add the pineapple juice, sugar, ginger, vanilla, and butter.
- Place 3 cups of flour in a large bowl. Stir in the egg mixture until well-combined. Sprinkle in the yeast, one packet at a time, and mix.
- Add the remaining 3 cups of flour and mix in . Blending with a spoon will be hard, so you may have to use your hands. Make sure it is thoroughly combined. Cover the bowl with a cloth and set in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
- Remove from the bowl and knead in 1/2 cup flour. Knead about 10 times. Divide into three equal parts.
- Place in greased and floured loaf pans or shape into rolls. Cover and place in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or golden brown.

HAWAIIAN BANANA-NUT BREAD
The bananas we brought to our church camp turned on the 4th day so we decided to make banana bread instead of throwing them out. Turned out moist and tender without being too sweet. Delicious way to use brown bananas. Taken from "Bernard Clayton's New Complete Book of Breads". The recipe was originally obtained from a hotel in Hawaii.

- In an electric mixer with the flat beater (or by hand) cream butter and sugar, then add the eggs, then the banana.
- With the mixer still running, add 1 cup flour, then the baking soda, the baking powder, the salt, and the vanilla. Add the remaining 0.5 cup flour and the chopped nuts.
- Continue to mix until ingredients are blended. Do not over-mix.
- Pour batter into a greased 8"x4" baking pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Loosen the sides and remove from the loaf pan to cool on a cooling rack.

- microwave pineapple juice for 45 sec. and dissolve yeast in warmed juice.
- in mixing bowl add flour, warmed milk, egg substitute, Splenda, applesauce, and salt.
- stir in yeast mixture.
- knead for 5 minutes.
- this dough will remain very sticky- that's OK.
- cover and let rise on warm stove top until doubled - about 45 minute pour dough into 2 loaf pans sprayed with cooking spray.
- cover and let rise again for another 45 minutes.
- bake at 350F for about 30 minute until tops are nicely browned.

- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat together the yeast mixture, eggs, pineapple juice, 1/2 cup water, sugar, ginger, vanilla, and melted butter. Gradually stir in flour until a stiff batter is formed. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
