I couldn't find a recipe with all these ingredients in it, so I made my own and posted it! They were so yummy!! ^_^

The Best Potato Wedges on Here image

Steps:

  • Cut each potato in half, and each half in 3 and set aside.
  • In a bowl mix all the ingredients together (except for the oil) to make your seasoning mix.
  • Next lay the potatoes on a baking sheet and sprinkle with seasoning mixture on both sides.
  • Place potatoes skin side down on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake at 400°F for 40 minutes and then at 450°F until desired crispiness.
  • Serve as a snack or appetizer or even with eggs for breakfast. Part of any dinner or lunch from fried/baked chicken to even steak!

  • Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  • On a baking sheet, combine the sweet potatoes, oregano, salt, and half the oil.
  • Toss well and roast for 40 minutes, or until tender and golden, flipping once halfway through.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Meanwhile, in a skillet, lightly toast the pumpkin seeds over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat.
  • Add the garlic, lemon juice, and the remaining oil and stir together.

Grilled Sweet Potato Wedges image

Steps:

  • Place 2 large sweet potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat and cook until easily pierced with a knife, 25 to 35 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly, then cut into 1/2-inch-thick wedges.
  • Brush the sweet potatoes with 1 tablespoon olive oil and sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder and a little salt. Grill over medium-high heat, turning once, until well marked, 2 to 5 minutes per side. Remove to a platter; drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky salt.

GARLIC POTATO WEDGES

This was a last-minute-what-can-I-do-with-some-potatoes recipe I threw together for a 4th of July picnic. I used Indiana Nurse's Baked Potato Wedges (#38183) as a starting point. I had no idea how they were going to turn out. However, there were no leftovers. LOL One change I'll make in the future is to add granulated garlic to the melted butter before coating the wedges. Note - "garlic granules," was inserted in place of granulated garlic/granulated garlic powder by Recipezaar in the list of ingredients. They are NOT the same thing. GRANULATED GARLIC is what to use.

  • Peel and cut sweet potatoes into wedges. Place in aluminum foil, sprinkle with olive oil and wrap tightly. Place potatoes on grill to cook about 20 minutes. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400║F.
  • Lightly spray 2 foil-lined baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, combine potatoes, oil, and garlic; toss to coat.
  • Arrange in even layer on baking sheets; season potatoes with salt and pepper.
  • Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until tender and browned, turning potatoes and switching position of pans halfway.
  • Meanwhile, in saucepan, combine chili, cheese and jalape±os; heat over medium-low heat 5 to 8 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in cilantro.
