Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, orange juice and vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in coconut., Shape tablespoonfuls of dough into crescent shapes. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool., In a small bowl, combine confectioners' sugar and milk. Decorate as desired with icing and sprinkles. Let stand until set.

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in the warm cream, sugar, egg and 1/4 cup flour. Place salt and remaining flour in a large bowl; cut in butter until crumbly. Fold in yeast mixture just until blended. (Do not knead.) Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours or overnight., For filling, combine butter and confectioners' sugar. Stir in coconut; set aside., Punch dough down. Divide dough in half. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Roll each portion into a 12-in. circle. Spread with filling mixture. Cut each circle into eight wedges. , Roll up wedges from the wide end and place with pointed side down 2 in. apart on greased baking sheets. Curve ends to form a crescent shape. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour., For glaze, combine egg and milk. Brush over dough. Sprinkle with coconut. Bake at 375° for 13-18 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350*. Generously grease 12-cup fluted bundt pan.
  • Combine sugar, coconut and orange peel.
  • Remove dough from can in rolled sections; do not unroll. Cur each section into 4 slices. Dip both sides of each slice in butter, then in coconut mixture.
  • Stand slices on edge, slightly overlapping, around prepared pan. Sprinkle over any remaining sugar mixture; drizzle with any remaining butter.
  • Bake for 28-32 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool in pan 1 minute; turn onto serving plate. Cool slightly. Blend glaze ingredients until smooth. Spoon over ring. refrigerate leftovers.

  • Using electric mixer, beat butter in medium bowl until light. Gradually beat in 3/4 cup powdered sugar. Beat in extracts. Stir in flour and salt, then macadamia nuts. Refrigerate dough 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Line 3 large baking sheets with parchment paper. Pinch off 1 tablespoon dough; shape into 2-inch-long, 1/2-inch-thick crescent. Repeat with remaining dough.
