JIFFY CAKE
This is another simple recipe and it makes a fast dessert for unexpected company. I always make sure that I keep these ingredients around the house just for that occasion.

Steps:
- 1. Mix cake per box directions, Place in 13x9 pan and bake for 10 to 15 minutes depending on your oven. Let cool. Soften cheese, Add milk and mix, Add pudding and beat til mixed. Pour over cool cake. Add pineapple to top of pudding and cover with cool whip. Sprinkle with nuts. refrigerate.

This was a recipe request. My mother used to make this when I was a kid. It's a simple, quick cake to throw together, and as LDJ pointed out, it's good with chocolate frosting or fruit.

- Mix Jiffy Cake according to the instructions on the box. Pour in a greased and floured 9 x 13" baking pan. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes in a 350°F oven. Allow cake and pan to cool.
- Beat cream cheese in a mixing bowl. In a seperate bowl whisk together pudding and milk. Add pudding to cream cheese and mix well.
- Spread pudding mixture over cooled cake. Then spread drained pineapple in an even layer on top of pudding.
- Spread whipped topping over cake and refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with chopped nuts and maraschino cherries if desired.
