LUSCIOUS ALMOND MOCHA

Its a nice cup of coffee with friends in the afternoon or at work I take it in a thermos for an afternoon treat.

Luscious Almond Mocha image

Steps:

  • 1. 1. Whisk together first 4 ingredients in large saucepan until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly. Boil 2 minutes, whisking constantly.
  • 2. 2. Add milk; cook to serving temperature. Do Not Boil. Stir in extracts. Serve in cups or mugs. Garnish with whipped topping; sift cocoa over top. 8 cups

1/2 c hershey's special dark cocoa
1/2 c powdered instant coffee
1 c sugar
1 c hot water
6 c milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4-1/2 tsp almond extract
whipped topping (optional)
additional hershey's cocoa

Chocolate Mocha Dusted Almonds image

Steps:

  • Microwave chocolate chips, covered, at 50% power, stirring once or twice, until melted, 3-4 minutes. Stir until smooth. Add almonds; mix until coated., Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients. Transfer almonds to sugar mixture; toss to coat evenly. Spread over a waxed paper-lined baking sheet., Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.

But the good news is that you can still treat yourself to a rich, smooth mocha - this baby is not only great hot or iced, but tripled with 2 tbsp of almond butter added to it you can make a great popsicle, or churn it for ice cream!

Sugar Free Almond Mocha image

Steps:

  • If serving cold: Stir together the coffee, almond milk and liquid stevia. Chill thoroughly.
  • If serving hot: Combine the coffee and almond milk in a microwave safe pitcher and heat about 3-4 minutes, until hot, but drinkable.
  • For both:.
  • Mix the stevia, cocoa and salt in a large cup (or a jug if serving two).
  • Stir the boiling water into the dry mixture until completely combined, then slowly whisk in the almond milk mixture and liquid stevia.
  • Serve and enjoy!
