I love Mexican food, and I love pizza. So I combined the best of both in this hearty pizza recipe. People seem to just love it...especially my brothers and other guys! -Laura Magee, Houlton, Wisconsin

- Prepare pizza dough according to package directions. Coat a 12-in. pizza pan with cooking spray; sprinkle with cornmeal. With floured hands, press dough onto pan. Bake at 425° for 6-8 minutes or until lightly browned., Meanwhile, in a small skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the chili powder, salt and pepper., Combine salsa and sour cream; spread over crust to within 1 in. of edges. Top with beef mixture, tomatoes, olives and cheese. Bake for 10 minutes., Sprinkle with crushed chips; bake 5-6 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.

PIZZA NACHOS

- Toss half of a thinly sliced baguette with olive oil, then spread on a baking sheet and bake at 475 degrees F until crisp, about 7 minutes. Top with 2 cups pizza sauce, 3 cups shredded mozzarella and 1/2 cup shredded parmesan. Bake at 475 degrees F for 7 minutes, then sprinkle with chopped basil.
NACHO PIZZA
It is exactly what it sounds like - all the toppings you'd get on a plate of nachos on a thin pizza crust! Add your own favorites to customize the recipe, like guacamole, refried beans, etc.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Cook beef in a large skillet under no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain. Stir in seasoning mix until evenly combined.
- Place pizza crust on a work surface. Spread queso dip evenly over the crust. Top with Cheddar cheese, cooked beef mixture, jalapeno, and green onions. Spoon salsa onto the pizza in random spots, making sure it's not mixed in with the other toppings. Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven directly on the middle oven rack until cheese is hot and melted, about 8 minutes. Serve with sour cream.

NACHO BREAD PIZZAS

- Split bread lengthwise. Hollow the bread out and cut each half in half across, making 4 boats.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Heat a small nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add oil, 1 turn of the pan, garlic and hot peppers. Drain beans. Add half of the beans then mash the remainder of the beans in the can using a fork. Add mashed beans to the pan and combine with whole beans. Season beans with hot sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. When the spicy beans are hot through, spread them evenly across all of the bread. Top with salsa and liberally sprinkle with cheese, covering bread to all edges. The boats will only be half-full. Melt cheese in the oven until it bubbles and begins to brown.
- Top Nacho Bread Pizzas with lettuce, olives, onions and tomatoes and serve. You can pick it up with your hands, but eat over the plate (or the kitchen sink, like me).
NACHO BREAD PIZZA

- Preheat the oven to 200°F.
- Crisp the bread in the low oven and split lengthwise. Hollow the bread out and cut each half in half across, making 4 boats. Switch the broiler on.
- Heat a small nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the oil, garlic, and jalapeños. Add the refried beans or, if you are using whole beans, drain, add half of the beans, then mash the remainder of the beans in the can using a fork. Add the mashed beans to the pan and combine with the whole beans. Season the beans with hot sauce, chili powder or cumin, salt, and pepper. When the spicy beans are hot through, spread them evenly across all of the bread. Top the beans liberally with the salsa, then the cheese, covering the bread to all edges. The boats will only be half full. Melt the cheese under the broiler until it bubbles and begins to brown.
- Fill the nacho bread pizzas with the lettuce, olives, onions, and tomatoes and serve. You can pick them up with your hands, but eat over the plate-or over the kitchen sink, like me.
BOLOGNESE BREAD PIZZA

- Heat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Split bread lengthwise then cut in half again and hollow out some of the insides of bread. Lightly crisp bread in oven, 5 to 8 minutes. Remove bread and switch broiler on.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high to high heat. Add extra-virgin olive oil, 1 turn of the pan. Add the pancetta, render a minute or so, add the meat and break it up into an even layer. Let the meat caramelize 1 to 2 minutes without stirring. Break it into small bits and brown well. Add garlic, onions and carrots and season with lots of coarse pepper, some salt, Worcestershire and allspice then cook 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add wine and scrape up pan bits. Add stock and loosen up the mixture a little. Add tomatoes and parsley and heat through, 1 to 2 minutes. Fill breads and top with a thin layer of mozzarella and a sprinkle of Parmigiano or Romano. Broil the pizzas to melt cheese. Top each pizza liberally with basil and serve (with a fork and knife).
