Peach Schlager Shot Recipes

Steps:

• Whisk the prosecco and sugar in a saucepan until combined. Sprinkle the gelatin over the top, allowing it to sit for a few minutes. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat until the gelatin is dissolved and the liquid just starts to simmer. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the peach nectar.
• Pour the mixture into an 8-by-8-inch baking dish (or something even smaller for thicker shots!). Drop the peach slices into the dish; they will float to the top. Refrigerate the dish until set, 2 to 3 hours. Slice into squares. I also like to slice these into cubes and serve in champagne glasses!

Steps:

• Combine 2 1/2 pounds peach wedges with 3/4 cup light brown sugar, the juice of 1 lemon, 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Pour into pie shell; dot with 4 tablespoons butter.
• Perfect All-Butter Piecrust
• Pulse 3 1/2 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon salt in a food processor. Add 1 diced stick cold butter; process until combined. Add 2 more diced sticks cold butter; pulse three times, or until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add 1 tablespoon white or cider vinegar. Gradually pour in 1/3 cup ice water, pulsing about four times until combined. Turn out onto a clean surface and press into a cohesive dough without overworking (you should see bits of butter). Wrap in plastic wrap and press into a 1-inch-thick disk; refrigerate at least 1 hour before rolling out.
• How to Make a Pie
• Divide the chilled dough in half; roll 1 piece into a 12-inch, 1/8-inch-thick circle on a lightly floured surface (refrigerate the other piece).
• Roll the dough onto a rolling pin, then unroll it into a 9-inch glass pie plate, letting it hang over the edge; add filling (see options above).
• Roll out the other piece of dough and place over the filling; press the crust edges together and trim, leaving a 1-inch overhang. Roll up or pinch the overhang to seal.
• Place a foil-lined baking sheet on a rack in the lower third of the oven; preheat to 450 degrees. Wrap an oiled, wide band of foil around the pie edge to protect the crust. Make slashes in the top of the crust; chill for 30 minutes.
• Reduce the oven to 400 degrees. Bake the pie for 30 minutes. Remove the foil band, brush the crust with heavy cream and sprinkle with sugar. Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes; cool before slicing.

Steps:

• In a martini shaker, shake Goldschlagger, peach schnapps and cranberry juice with ice.
• Hint - the more peach schnapps used, the sweeter it is.

• Heat the brandy, apple liqueur and apple cider in a saucepan until almost boiling.
• Place a wine or cordial glass under hot running water to heat. Add the cherry liqueur and sour cherry to the hot glass and pour in the brandy mixture.

• Fill a large wine goblet with crushed ice. Gently muddle the rye, peach nectar, dash of bitters, peaches, mint, and a squeeze of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Pour over ice and serve cold.

• Dissolve Jell-O in heated Red Bull, then add liquors and cold water.
• Pour mixture into ,individual shot-size (1oz-2oz) plastic or paper cups. ****To make the Jello easier to consume, buy plastic cups that also have lids. Pour the mix into the cup, add the lid, then turn it upside down prior to refrigeration.
• Place shots on a tray in refrigerator (not the freezer). Chill until firm (approximately 2-4 hours). Refrigerate until served.

• Pour the vodka, lime juice, and triple sec into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled shot glasses to serve.

• Stir together boiling water and powdered gelatin in a mixing bowl. Stir constantly until gelatin is completely dissolved.
• Stir in cold water and alcohol.
• Pour mixture into ,individual shot-size (1oz-2oz) plastic or paper cups. ****To make the Jello easier to consume, buy plastic cups that also have lids. Pour the mix into the cup, add the lid, then turn it upside down prior to refrigeration.

• Bring peach nectar to a boil (I used the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes).
• Pour in jello powder and stir until dissolved, add the creme de peche.
• Divide among 12 2 oz portion cups or shot glasses and place in fridge till set.
• If you want to make them peaches and cream shots add a little whipped cream on top when serving.

• Fill a large wine goblet with crushed ice. Gently muddle the rye, peach nectar, dash of bitters, peaches, mint, and a squeeze of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Pour over ice and serve cold.
• Note: At first, the rye can pack a real punch; as the ice and fruit melt, they mellow it into a wonderful summer drink.

• Lightly oil a brain-shaped gelatin mold.
• Stir the peach gelatin mix with boiling water in a bowl to dissolve the gelatin. Allow to cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes. Mix in the evaporated milk and peach schnapps; pour into the prepared mold. Refrigerate until set, 4 to 6 hours.
• To decorate, dip the mold in very warm water (don't let the water enter the top of the mold) to loosen; invert the mold on a serving platter and lift to leave the brain in place. Mix blue and red food coloring in a small bowl with 2 teaspoons of water. Use a small clean paintbrush to paint the coloring into the grooves of the brain. Return the brain to the refrigerator until the food coloring sets. Serve cold.
