SEVEN LAYER TACO DIP
I am continuously asked to bring this dip for parties and family get-togethers. People gather around the platter until it's gone.

Steps:
- Flatten softened cream cheese in bottom of a pie plate or shallow dish.
- Spread the re-fried beans over top.
- Cover with salsa.
- Cover this with the cheese blend.
- Bake 350* for 10 minutes.
- You can actually use as much Salsa as you want, I found using the hot salsa made this sort of bitter.

LAYERED REFRIED BEAN DIP
This recipe was posted on athriftymom.com, and I doubled the recipe (except the quantity of cheese I left the same as posted). Some of the portions weren't listed exactly so feel free to adjust to your liking or add more cheese. I must confess, I added a litte sour cream, salsa, taco seasoning mix, and cheese to the refried beans. Then I did another layer of salsa. If you're not a salsa fan, you'll probably want to use less. I also used chives instead of green onions because that's what I had. This is good as a dip, but I also thought it was good inside taco shells for lunch or dinner. Tortillas would also work well. You may find that half the recipe is sufficient instead of the doubled ingredients below. Thank you A Thrifty Mom for the great recipe! Serving size is estimated.

HOT BEAN DIP
This bean dip is sooooo good. It is easy to make and is always a hit. I make it for my Super Bowl party each year and it is always gone before half time!! Two cheeses and refried beans are baked with mild spices to create a creamy dip. Serve with tortilla chips.

I made this the first time for public use at a pot luck at Alcatraz. It went over so well, I've been making it ever since. I figure a piece of paper is easier to give to someone than having to make this. I hope you enjoy it.

- In a medium pot set over medium heat, break up the cream cheese into chunks. Add the refried beans, salsa, and taco seasoning and mix together until well incorporated. Stir occasionally until smooth and heated through, adjusting the heat as necessary to prevent the bottom from burning. Stir in the grated cheese until melted, and then add the cilantro. Garnish with additional cilantro, if desired, and serve warm with tortilla chips.
- To keep warm while serving, you may transfer the dip to a small slow cooker set to WARM, stirring occasionally to prevent the bottom from burning and the surface of the dip from drying out.

- Add the drained and rinsed beans, salsa, pickled jalapeno slices, onion powder, garlic powder, coconut sugar and salt. Blend for about 5 minutes, scraping the sides a couple of times during, until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and add more salt if needed, which will depend on your beans. If you want it spicier, add more jalapenos.
- If you want it true refried bean style, you can choose to heat up the mashed bean mixture in the microwave a couple of minutes until hot or bake it in a dish at 325°F 15-20 minutes until hot. I honestly loved it straight out of the processor so it was like the Frito Lay bean dip.
