RICH AND CREAMY CHOCOLATE FROSTING FROM TOLL HOUSE
This is the frosting for my recipe recipe #384594 I'm posting it seperately for everyone who needs a creamy, delicious chocolate buttercream frosting for their favorite cake.

Steps:
- In small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in mini-morsels until melted.
- Add salt and vanilla.
- Gradually beat in confectioner's sugar and milk until creammy and fluffy. I beat this for a good 10 minutes. The longer you beat it, the creamier it gets.
- Makes enough to fill and frost 2 layers (about 2 1/4 cups of frosting).

TOLL HOUSE CAKE (LAYER CAKE OR BUNDT CAKE - YOU PICK)
You'll love this delicious chocolate chip cake from Toll House. It can be made as a layer cake or a Bundt cake. Both are great! I found it in an old Better Homes and Gardens recipe booklet from the late 70's. It is different from all the other recipes I've found. It's a yellow cake with chocolate chips and creamy, delicious, chocolate buttercream icing! Be sure to use the mini-morsels because the regular ones will sink down to the bottom. If you just need a rich, chocolatey buttercream frosting, I have also posted the frosting separately. It is recipe #384599.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease and flour two 8 or 9 inch pans or one 10 inch Bundt pan.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt.
- In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Alternately beat in flour mixture and milk.
- Stir in mini-morsels.
- Pour into prepared pans.
- Bake 35 minutes for layers or 45 minutes for Bundt cake.
- NOTE- DO NOT test for doneness by piercing cake because it may deflate if you do.
- Cool 15 minutes in pans.
- Remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
- FROSTING:.
- In small saucepan, melt butter.
- Stir in mini-morsels until melted.
- Add salt and vanilla.
- Gradually beat in confectioner's sugar and milk until creamy and fluffy. I beat this for at least 10 minutes. The longer you beat it, the better is tastes.
- Makes enough to fill and frost 2 layers (about 2 1/4 cups of frosting).

- In large bowl, combine sugar and butter, beat well.

- Gradually blend in flour mixture.

- Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

- Cool 15 minutes on wire rack, remove from pan.

my Mommy's delicious chocolate chip cookie pie - so easy to make and it tastes delicious! It also keeps a lot better than chocolate chip cookies, so if you don't have a big family this is perfect!

- Prepare 8 muffin tins with paper liners.
- For the batter, cream butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla (about 3 minutes).

- Preheat oven to 350°F Grease and flour 13x9-inch baking pan.
- In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg - set aside.
- In larger mixing bowl, beat sugar, oil, vanilla, and eggs until well blended. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in carrots, pineapple, nuts, and mini- chocolate chips.

This cheesecake is my son's favorite and I make it every holiday mostly for him. I pulled this recipe off of the chocolate package five or so years ago, and the cardboard is getting pretty worn. I'm posting it here so that I won't lose it. Cook time does not include chill time in the fridge

- PREHEAT oven to 375º F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Slice dough into 16 pieces. Cover bottom of prepared pan with pieces. Allow to soften for 5 to 10 minutes. Using fingertips, pat dough gently to cover bottom.
- Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar and choco bake in a large mixing bowl until well blended. Add whipped topping; stir until just blended. Spoon over cookie crust; smooth top. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Cover; refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours or overnight. Remove sides of pan.

- For Topping:.
- In small bowl, combine 1 TB flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 TB softened butter.
- Mix well.
- Stir in nuts and 1/2 cup Nestle morsels.
- Set aside.
- For Cake:.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In small bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp salt.
- Set aside.
- In large bowl, combine 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 cup sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
- Beat until creamy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with sour cream.
- Fold in remaining 1 1/2 cups Nestle morsels.
- Spread into greased 13x9 inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Cut into 2 inch squares.
