3 CHEESE GARLIC BRAID
Yum, this cheesy garlic bread is divine. The cheesy center inside the soft warm bread is drenched in melted garlic butter. The outside has the perfect crusty texture. This will become a family favorite for you too!

Steps:
- 1. Mix warm water, yeast, brown sugar and olive oil until yeast is dissolved.
- 2. Add bread flour and salt to form a dough.
- 3. Cover in oiled/greased bowl and let rise until doubled in size.
- 4. Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Kneading isn't really necessary with this dough. Roll out into large rectangle.
- 5. Slice each side with a sharp knife so each side has strips.
- 6. In a small bowl, melt butter and garlic in the microwave.
- 7. Fill with cheeses. Pour garlic butter into cheese with a spoon to get as many garlic pieces into the cheese mixture. Reserve enough garlic/butter mixture to brush the top of the bread with.
- 8. Fold end up over cheese mixture and braid your pieces from side to side to close. Fold final end up over cheese and last 2 dough strips over to seal. Place on greased sheet, cover with a clean towel and let rise for 15 minutes.
- 9. Brush with remaining garlic butter.
- 10. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes until starting to get golden on top of bread. Once baked, brush with plain butter, slice, and serve!

- Preheat the oven to high broil. Mix the butter, garlic, Asiago, Parmesan, Romano and parsley in a medium bowl until completely combined. Spoon some of the mixture on one side of the bread slices and put on a baking sheet, butter side up.
- Broil until bread is toasted and cheese mixture is bubbling, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve hot.

- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the butter, herbs, garlic, and cheese and mix until smooth.
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise, then spread the butter mixture to your liking evenly on the cut sides of the baguette (any leftover mix can be frozen for up to 1 month).

- Measure the flour, yeast and salt into a large bowl. Mix 300ml hand-hot water with the oil and honey in a jug, then pour into the dry mix, stirring all the time to make a soft dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, then knead for 5 mins until the dough no longer feels sticky, sprinkling with a little more flour as you need it. Now stretch it to fit the Swiss roll tin.
- Mix the garlic with the butter, then dot over the dough. Sprinkle over the cheese and snip over the thyme. Cover the bread with lightly oiled cling film, then leave in a warm place to rise for 40 mins.
- Heat oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Remove the cling film, then bake the bread for 30 mins until golden and risen. Leave to cool for 10 mins, then cut into 12 pieces and serve.

- Prepare dough through step 3. Then punch the dough down and place on a lightly floured or oiled work surface. Roll into a 15x11 inch rectangle. Place on a lightly greased large baking sheet.
- In a medium sized bowl combine the cheeses, mayonnaise, garlic, basil and oregano. Spoon filling down the center of the rectangle leaving room on the ends to fold up.
- With a sharp knife cut 1 inch strips down each side of the filling. Then fold each end over the filling before "braiding". To braid take one strip and cross it over the filling then take a strip from the other side and cross it over the filling. (there are a couple of photos and a clip you can watch for a visual below the recipe) Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and set braid aside to rest for 5-10 minutes before baking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. In a small bowl combine the topping ingredients and brush across the top of the braid. Allow the braid to cool for 5 minutes after baking before slicing it. I like to serve this with homemade pizza sauce.
