Steps:
- Add the first 5 ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake vigorously.
- Strain into a chilled margarita glass filled with ice cubes.
- To serve a frozen version-combine the first 5 ingredients with ¾ cup crushed ice in a blender; blend until smooth; pour into a margarita glass.
- Garnish with a blood orange wedge.
FROZEN BLOOD ORANGE MARGARITA
Steps:
- Combine the blood orange juice, lemon juice, Triple Sec, and ice in a blender and puree until completely blended. Add the tequila and puree for 2 seconds more.
- Pour the mixture into the frozen margarita glasses and serve.

Steps:
- Rub 1 of the lime wedges around the outside of the rim of the margarita glass, and then roll it in the salt. Fill the glass with ice.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the tequila, lime juice, agave and blood orange puree over the ice. Shake vigorously 10 times. Strain into the margarita glass, garnish with the remaining lime wedge and serve.
