- Combine brown sugar, butter and cinnamon; spread evenly in a greasted 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan; set aside.
- Combine eggs and milk in a shallow dish; place bread in dish and soak for 5 minutes, turning once.
- Place bread over sugar miture.
- Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 20- 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- You can serve it with maple syrup but it is really good without.

- Beat cream cheese spread, sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl with whisk until creamy. Add eggs; mix until blended. Gradually add milk and vanilla; mix well.
- Dip bread slices, 1 side at time, into cream cheese mixture; turn and press down gently to evenly coat both sides of bread.
- Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in griddle or large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add bread, in batches; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Remove from griddle; cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining butter and bread slices.

I do not remember where I got this recipe, but my husband says it tastes just as good as what he had at Denny's. I am just amazed at all of the great reviews on this recipe!! - Mix together the eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, salt& cinnamon.
- Heat a large skillet, or griddle.
- When the skillet is hot, add 1 tablespoon butter.
- If the butter smokes, your pan is too hot; turn down the heat.
- Dip each slice of bread into the batter for 30 seconds on each side.
- Let some of the batter drip off, then put in skillet.
- Cook each slice 1 1/2-2 minutes per side until each side is golden brown.
- Add more butter, if necessary, to cook all of the slices.
- To serve, put on plate, dust with powdered sugar. Serve with butter & hot syrup.
