GRAPE-TINI
I love trying new martinis. This is one a bartender here in Ft. Worth made for me on a whim. I always garnish with a frozen grape.

GRAPE AND RICOTTA CROSTATA
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Unroll pie crust and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread grape jam over the pie crust leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Randomly place tablespoon-sized dollops of ricotta over the grape jam. Fold in the edges of pie crust over the filling.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush over pie crust. Randomly place the grapes flat side down onto the crust. Bake for 20 minutes until crust is golden and filling is puffed slightly. Remove to a wire rack, cool 10 minutes. When cool, dust with powdered sugar and cut into slices.
GRAPE CRUSH
Steps:
- Slice the grapes in half and arrange in a single layer on a sheet tray in the freezer. Let freeze completely, about 2 hours.
- Divide the grapes into 4 pint glasses half filled with ice. Fill each glass, halfway with grape juice and top with lemon/lime soda.
- Add vodka, if desired.

Steps:
- To make each radish eyeball, peel radish, leaving streaks of red skin for "blood vessel" effect. Cut off one tip of radish about 1/4-inch deep. Using small melon baller or paring knife, scoop out small hole from sliced tip side; place olive half in center. Place in martini glass.
- To make each grape eyeball, carefully peel back skin of grape from one edge. Using small melon baller or paring knife, cut small hole in center of exposed flesh. Place small cranberry or blueberry in hole. Skewer grapes onto toothpick; place in martini glass.
- To make each olive eyeball, place baby carrot in pitted hole of olive. Cut off carrot flush with end of olive. Skewer olives onto toothpick; place in martini glass.
- To make cocktail, place several ice cubes in cocktail shaker or mixing glass. Add gin and vermouth. Cover; shake (or stir) 30 seconds. Strain into martini glass and serve.

ROASTED GRAPE CROSTINI
A trip to Spain introduced me to its culinary treasures, like Manchego cheese and sherry. This appetizer always impresses folks who've never tasted roasted grapes. They're amazing. -Janice Elder, Charlotte, North Carolina
