Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas and mix with eggs and applesauce.
- Add in the baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and flours.
- Mix well.
- Grease a bread pan with cooking spray and pour the mixture into the pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes to an hour.
- Serve warm, either plain or with peanut butter or nutella!

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly mist a 9-by-5-inch metal loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and dust well with all-purpose flour to cover the pan completely, tapping out the excess. Put the chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring, until melted and smooth, 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds. Set aside to cool slightly while preparing the batter. Combine the bananas and sugar in a large bowl and mash with a potato masher or fork until mostly smooth with just a few small pieces of banana left. Add the oil and eggs and stir until combined. Using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula, mix in both flours, the baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in the buttermilk and vanilla. Stir 1 cup batter into the melted chocolate. Fill the loaf pan with half the banana batter and then half the chocolate batter. Repeat the layers and gently swirl together using a spoon or knife. Bake until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cool in the pan 15 minutes, and then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature. Cook's Note: To prepare your loaf pan for baking, you can also use a nonstick spray with flour already in it. Flouring the pan helps the bread rise well and prevents any collapse after it comes out of the oven. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S REDUCED-FAT WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD
Moist and delicious banana bread that doesn't taste low-fat! A healthier way to prepare an old favorite. This recipe makes two large loaves. Freezes well. I recommend using a blender or food processor to chop the walnuts (they should still be a little chunky, not quite as fine as sand) as well as to mash the bananas (puree until there are still a few small chunks left).

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, thoroughly combine oil, vanilla, honey and applesauce together.
- Add eggs, and beat well.
- Stir in mashed bananas.
- Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg and salt, stirring gently to combine ingredients.
- Add baking soda to hot water, stir to mix, and then add to batter. Blend in chopped nuts. Stir just until smooth.
- Pour batter into two greased standard-sized loaf pans.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool on cooling rack for at least 1 hour before serving. Whatever you don't eat can be refrigerated or frozen and will keep for quite a while.

- Dissolve the yeast in a small amount of water or, if you are using dry yeast, bloom the yeast as the package instructs.
- Using the 1 or 2 setting on your stand mixer with the dough hook attachment in place, add the water and yeast to the bowl of your mixer.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Once the dough is formed to a smooth dough, turn it out onto your work surface.
- Place the dough into an oiled bowl and cover and place in a warm draft free location.
- When the dough has doubled in size, punch the dough down by pushing your fist into the center of the dough.
- Let it rise again and take it out of the bowl. Separate into 3 1-pound loaves. You can place the loaves into loaf pans if you like.
- Let the bread proof until doubled in size again. Putting them in an oven that has not been turned on is a good place for this.
- Take the proofed loaves out of the oven and preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- I like to egg wash the bread and then slash it, but you can skip the wash if you like.
- Bake until golden brown.
LOWER FAT BANANA BREAD I
A wonderful banana bread that is lower in fat and calories than most other banana bread recipes.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray one 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, beat the white sugar and margarine or butter until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs, water and bananas with the sugar mixture until it is well blended.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder just until the mixture is moistened. Be sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to blend all ingredients.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degree C) for about 60 minutes. Bread is done when the top is firm to the touch and a golden brown color. Time will vary according to loaf size and oven type. When bread is removed from oven, allow it to cool on it's side for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool on a rack. This bread is also excellent if you add mini chocolate chips or small fruit pieces to the mix just before baking.

- combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda& pie spice, mix well.
- Add banana, honey& milk.
- Stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened.
- Coat an 8x4 inch loaf pan (double recipe if using a larger pan to avoid a drying out the bread).
- with nonstick cooking spray.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the pan.
