RED LOBSTER® CHEDDAR BISCUITS

I made these with baked potato soup and loved it. Great addition! I gave them to a friend and he said they tasted just like the ones at Red Lobster®. The recipe will yield more if made into smaller biscuits. They are best served fresh out of the oven.

Red Lobster® Cheddar Biscuits image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Butter a baking sheet.
  • Combine flour, Cheddar cheese, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Combine milk, 1/3 cup butter, and egg in a separate bowl. Mix into the flour mixture until chunky; be careful not to over-mix the batter.
  • Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Brush melted butter on top and continue baking until golden brown, about 5 minutes more.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Combine garlic butter ingredients, mixing well.
  • Combine biscuit ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Drop approximately 1-2 Tablespoon portions of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Brush garlic butter on top before baking.
  • Bake for 14-16 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown.
  • Brush garlic butter on top before serving.
  • Serve warm.

2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
3/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a 3 tablespoon scoop to place even portions of biscuit batter onto the baking sheets, two inches apart. Bake for approximately 10 minutes until golden.
  • Meanwhile, whisk the melted butter and parsley together for the biscuit tops. Once the biscuits come out of the oven, brush the butter over the tops and serve warm.
