1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon rose syrup (or more if desired)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/2 cup water
10 -12 crushed ice cubes
10 -12 drops vanilla essence

Our sweet version of lassi, a chilled yogurt drink from India, takes its flavor from rose water and cardamom. A healthful refreshment anytime, it is especially nice as a mouth-cooling accompaniment to spicy food.

Steps:

  • Place yogurt, water, sugar, rose water, and spices in the jar of a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth and frothy. Serve cold, garnished with rose petals.
