CLASSIC CREAMY COLESLAW
Classic Creamy Coleslaw was served with fried chicken for years at an auction near Martha Artyomenko's Beaver Bay, Minnesota home. "When the lady who made this tasty salad move, I contacted her to get the recipe," Martha explains." My friends and I often take this coleslaw to weddings (like the one in the photo above) and other gatherings."

CLASSIC CREAMY COLESLAW DRESSING
I use this on bagged broccoli slaw (2 lbs) and the ratio of slaw to dressing is perfect. I believe I got this from Martha Stewart's little food magazine a while back.

THE BEST CREAMY COLESLAW
We made our cool, crunchy slaw with just the right amount of tang from sour cream and vinegar. A bit of honey balances the acidity. This classic summer side dish would be welcome at any picnic or backyard BBQ.

Steps:
- Remove and discard tough outer leaves from the green cabbage. Cut the head in half, cutting through the core. Use the tip of the knife to remove the core from both halves, then cut each half into quarters. Slice each quarter thinly into short strips. Repeat with the red cabbage and place both in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and celery seeds in a small bowl, then season with salt and pepper. Add more sugar as desired. Toss the cabbage with half the dressing, then lay in a shallow dish (a 9-by-13-inch baking dish works well). Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
- Once cabbage has marinated in the dressing, taste and add reserved dressing as desired. Add the carrots and parsley and toss to combine.

CREAMY COLESLAW DRESSING
Coleslaw is one of my all-time favorite foods if it has a nice, creamy dressing. After doing some research, making dozens of different dressings, and trying to find the flavor that I like, I came up with this dressing for coleslaw that became a hit. I'm always asked for this recipe. What surprised me was at a potluck when a culinary chef asked me for my recipe. He told me that it was one of the best he had ever tasted since he had left the southern part of the USA.

CLASSIC DELI COLE SLAW DRESSING
A very good dressing I found on the back of a pre-mixed cole slaw package. Tasty, easy to throw together and just like what you would find in a deli. You can make extra dressing if you like your cole slaw "extra creamy" as well as use your own mixture of shredded green cabbage, carrots and red cabbage....We love it!!!

CLASSIC COLESLAW
Hattie B's version of this traditional fried chicken side tastes like coleslaw should: crunchy, a little creamy, and with enough vinegar to keep it bright. Best of all: It will help put out the fire.

CREAMY COLESLAW
For me, this is the best coleslaw recipe because a package of shredded cabbage and carrots really cuts down on prep time. This creamy coleslaw recipe is great for potlucks or to serve to your family on a busy weeknight. -Renee Endress, Galva, Illinois
