Steps:

  • Thirty minutes to an hour before serving, combine the strawberries, balsamic vinegar, sugar, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside at room temperature.

  • Wash and slice strawberries and set aside.
  • Heat saucepan over medium heat and add the butter.
