Tuna Unusual Casserole Recipes

Steps:

• Cook pasta according to package.
• In a saucepan cook celery and onion in the butter/margarine untitl soft.
• Stir in Milk, Mayo, Sour Cream, and Gravy Mix.
• Stir in tuna, red pepper flakes, hard boiled eggs, peas, and noodles.
• Sprinkle with Cheese and Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.

Steps:

• Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
• Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
• In a large bowl, thoroughly mix noodles, onion, 1 cup cheese, peas, tuna, soup and mushrooms. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish, and top with potato chip crumbs and remaining 1 cup cheese.
• Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is bubbly.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
• Cook the barley. In a medium saucepan, add the barley, water, and salt. cover and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook until barley has softened and is edible, but not too soft. (Barley will soften up a little more when it bakes in the oven.).
• Combine cooked barley with all remaining ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup cheese. Spread in prepared baking pan. Top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until cooked through.
• Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
• Additional ingredients to try: onions, shallots, mushrooms.

• Combine the first three items, boil, stir occasionally.
• Stir in macaroni and remove from heat.
• Add tuna and 2/3 of the cheese.
• Pour into a two quart casserole and cover.
• Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
• Stir once then sprinkle with remaining cheese.
• Bake 5 minutes more.

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook according to the package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water, then drain the noodles and return to the pot.
• Meanwhile, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallion whites and sliced celery. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 2 minutes. Add the evaporated milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper. Stir in the peas and carrots and the mustard. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium low. Cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.
• Pour the sauce over the noodles; stir in the sour cream, 1/2 cup of the cheese, the tuna and reserved cooking water. Transfer to a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
• Melt the remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Toss with the panko, scallion greens, celery leaves and remaining 1/4 cup cheese; season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle over the casserole. Bake until golden, 15 to 20 minutes.

• Cook pasta according to package directions., Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the tuna, soup, artichokes, sour cream, peppers, onion, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, dill, capers, garlic, lemon zest and pepper flakes. Drain pasta; stir into tuna mixture. Divide among six 10-oz. ramekins or custard cups., In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs, cheese and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle over tuna mixture. Place ramekins on a baking sheet. Bake, uncovered at 350° until golden brown, 25-30 minutes.

• Lightly,grease a 12x8x2 baking pan.
• In a medium saucepan,combine the first 6 ingredients.
• Stir well and bring to a boil.
• Cover and reduce the heat,simmer 15 minutes.
• Stir on occasion.
• Cook the lasagna noodles as directed on package.
• Drain.
• With spoon,add one third of the tunafish mixture into the dish.
• Layer half each of the noodles,ricotta,and mozzerella cheese.
• Top with one third of tuna mixture.
• Repeat the layers with the remaining noodles,ricotta,mozzerall and tuna.
• Sprinkle on top layer,the parmesan cheese.
• Uncovered,bake for 40 minutes.
