Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry mixer until mixture is consistency of crumbs. Add a quarter cup of the beer, stirring gently to combine, and then add remaining beer and mix gently to make soft, sticky dough. Do not over-mix or biscuits will be tough. Pat dough out on a floured work surface to a thickness of 1/2 - to 3/4-inches and cut into biscuits. Place on baking pan and bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks unsalted butter
1/2-cup beer

TRACIE'S MOM'S BEER BISCUITS image

Steps:

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine Bisquick and sugar. Mix well. Add the beer; stir, but don't over-mix. Batter should be lumpy.
  • 2. Drop by spoonsful onto a greased muffin tin or cookie sheet. Bake in a pre-heated 375-degree oven for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Cheesy Beer Biscuits image

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450°F. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, beer, garlic powder and 1 cup of the cheese until soft dough forms.
  • Place dough on surface sprinkled with additional Bisquick mix; knead 10 times. Roll until 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup cheese evenly over rounds, about 1 teaspoon on each. Sprinkle with pepper.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter. Serve warm.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F; butter a muffin tin.
  • In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well, adding sugar up to 1/2 cup to your own preference.
  • Pour batter into the muffin tin.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
  • Serve with honey butter (Paula's "honey butter" recipe can be found at RecipeZaar #1149320).

  • In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, combine the honey and melted butter. Whisk to combine, to loosen up the honey. Set aside.
  • Gently pour the beer and the honey-butter mixture into the flour mixture. Using a big spoon, stir just until combined. Divide the batter evenly between 12 muffin cups.
